This year’s Palm Beach Classical Fencing Open Tournament was held in Palm Beach, Florida, on April 7, 2018. This was the 18th tournament hosted by Palm Beach Classical Fencing in conjunction with the AHF. This year fencers competed in foil, dueling sword (épée) and dueling sabre.
A total of 32 fencers participated from the host organization as well as the following schools and clubs: Côte du Golfe School of Fencing (Naples, FL), Red Sun Classical Fencing (Albuquerque, NM), SUNY-Purchase Fencing Club (Purchase, NY), Tampa Bay Fencers (Tampa, FL) and Treasure Coast Fencing Club (Port St. Lucie, FL). Four directors and nearly 20 judges volunteered their time and energy to make the event a great success. Many thanks to Jay Tomika for the excellent photographs.
