AHF Officials Clinic

The Fencing Officials Commission (FOC) organizes and runs clinics to prepare and authorize AHF members to officiate at AHF classical and historical fencing tournaments. The clinics are designed to train judges and directors on the proper procedures and protocols. This workshop provides two days of intensive instruction and training by covering the AHF rules for each weapons category in minute detail; including safety requirements for all weapon and equipment, commonalties and difference in officiating classical and historical fencing, judges and directors’ responsibilities, etc.

Upon completing this workshop participants take a written and practical exam administered by the FOC. For more details on eligibility requirements and the Fencing Officials Commission see this page.
